A friend sent me a very sweet message today saying how she has had ‘Appetite’ stuck in her head for days.
I wrote this song like over five years ago and I’ve completely forgotten about it! Y’know, kinda left it behind with the Myspace era.
I remember being rather inspired by Dannii Minogue’s “Neon Nights” era when I wrote it. It’s such an old rough recording - I think I did the vocals on a portable mp3 player! But regardless of all that, ‘Appetite’ is special because it was what kinda got me “discovered” by Shadow Rose, the production team I’ve now been with for years.
I think the melody and sexy energy on the track still sounds fresh. But y’know, I’m slightly biased! Hope you like it anyway.
